If you’ve visited the tasting room in cooler fall and winter months, chances are you’ve sampled our delicious mulled apple wine! This is a tasting room favorite, not only for our guests but the tasting room staff as well. Mulled wine is traditionally made with a red wine, but we like to get creative at PC. Our recipe combines our Kroupa Orchards Apple Wine made with a blend of juice from Michigan apples, the perfect combination of spices, and just enough sugar to sweeten things up! Use the recipe below to re-create this delectable holiday treat at home!
Peninsula Cellars Mulled Apple Wine
2 bottles of Kroupa Orchards Apple Wine
1/4-1/2 c. of white sugar
1 satchel of mulling spice (available for purchase through our tasting room)
Combine ingredients in crock pot and place temperature setting to low. Let sit until warm and sugar has completely dissolved. Serve and enjoy!
