Peninsula Proud

The Kroupa family has been farming on Old Mission Peninsula for over one-hundred years. What began as a way to survive by farming fruit on Old Mission, has become our way of life. Owner and winemaker John Kroupa, is the sixth-generation to farm the land just like his ancestors did before him. 

Each Peninsula Cellars wine is made from grapes grown right here on Old Mission Peninsula. Many of which are grown right on the very same land where the first Kroupa’s settled nearly 118 years ago. We also work closely with a select group of growers on Old Mission Peninsula to produce fruit that expresses the characteristics of the areas where the vineyards are located.

Peninsula Proud® doesn’t simply mean you are proud to be from Old Mission. It means you are proud of your traditions, your hard work, and your history.
